SUS316 stainless steel, with 2-3% molybdenum addition, offers far superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments compared to 304. We provide custom SUS316 compression springs in full specifications, particularly suitable for seawater-contacted components, equipment cleaned with chlorinated disinfectants, and acidic gas environments.
We tightly control post-coiling heat treatment and passivation to ensure material corrosion resistance is preserved.
